Leroy
1 1/2-year-old
Neutered Male
Bad, bad, Leroy Brown is anything but bad. He is actually one of the sweetest guys around. Besides that, he has the most beautiful markings around his head and face. He could be a mime in the circus! No one knows much about Leroy's history, but he arrived with some other cats, so we believe that he can live happily with other cats. He’s an all-around great cat – come meet him!

Diego
1-year-old
Neutered Male
Diego is a curious and confident cat. He knows what it means to fend for himself - he was found wandering the streets in Novato. Now he’s had enough of life on the streets, and he's dreaming of sardines on silver platters and cushy beds. Diego is sweet and loving and enjoys getting attention from people, but he’ll let you know when he’s in the mood to be left alone. This playful cat will enjoy having lots of toys, and a tall scratching post will delight him.

Camille

Camille was recently abandoned and now is looking for a new home. She is an affectionate young gal who must have been treated well early in her life as she is confident and healthy. When you bring Camille home, set her up in a small room of her own for a few days. Let her out of the room to explore the rest of your house, always giving her the option to return to her home base. Camille is a sleek, confident kitty who wants to be your lifelong friend.

Red
5-year-old
Spayed Female
Lovely Red was surrendered to us by her previous owner because Red does not like babies. Specifically, the sound of babies crying makes her want to mark her territory. Otherwise, Red was a cherished pet and much loved by her family. We're confident that if Red does not have to live with a baby again her new family will love her forever too. Red's affectionate, easy to handle, and very sociable with people. She's a great age, too no kitten craziness, but she has many years of love to soothe you.

Jazz
5-year-old
Neutered Male
Jazz’s owner died and he isn't particularly happy about finding himself in the shelter. This gentle giant currently hides in his bed until someone takes him out to visit, but then he’s as sweet as could be. He is very easy to handle, he enjoys being groomed, and he’s very social. Jazz would do best in a quiet home with a fairly predictable routine. He has lived well with other cats. Older children will be fine, if the overall home environment is calm. Dogs probably wouldn't be his first choice, though!

Kitkat
10-month-old
Neutered Male
Kitkat’s previous guardian who took care of him during his semi-feral childhood had to surrender him. He’s feeling a little overwhelmed by his current situation, so he asks that you have patience with him. With his shy, reserved disposition he would be better suited in a quiet, calm, environment without children. As he becomes more comfortable you will see him blossom into an affectionate, sweet boy! Kitkat wants a special bond, a lifelong partnership with someone who will really have his best interests at heart. Is that you?

Ozzie

Neutered Male
Who knows the stories Ozzie could tell? Perhaps if you adopt him, he could regale you by the fire on rainy winter afternoons. Summer will find you both in the garden hunting bugs. Ozzie was a stray cat who is very social and enjoys human company, so he has clearly gotten a lot of loving in his life. Right now, he is searching the Roommates Wanted ads and is hoping for you! Since Ozzie is such a friendly, easy going fellow, he would be great in just about any household.

Cassie
4-month-old
Spayed Female
Cassie is rather shy but if you give her some time, she will come out from under the covers and shell love for you to pet and hold her. She will be delighted to be in a new home with a comfortable, quiet place to relax and some fuzzy toys. This beautiful young lady was brought to MHS because she wasnt getting along very well with the other cat in the house. Cassie also enjoys chasing birds, so she should be an indoor cat as well as the only cat in the house.

Abigail
1-year-old
Spayed Female

Quiet and ladylike, with a sweet personality, Lady Abigail is looking to be the pampered pet in a fairly quiet home. She’s ready to go home, relax, and bring joy to the lucky person who adopts her. Abigail is an active and playful young cat. We feel that with slow and careful introductions, she will do well with other animals. When you first bring her home, give her a room of her own and let her settle in and explore the house a bit at a time.
