Brutus
9-month-old
Neutered Male, 49lbs
Boxer

Brutus is a handsome, happy fellow who's looking for a home with active, experienced owners. He definitely needs work in the manners department! Fortunately, this good-natured dog is eager to learn and loves treats, so training him should be fun. Make sure he gets plenty of exercise. He’s a little too physical with other dogs to be good for dog parks. Like all dogs, Brutus needs rules and routine, as well as training and management, to help him be a good boy.

Ideal Home: Best in home with children 16 years or older

Rufus
1 1/2 year-old
Neutered Male, 38lbs
German Shorthaired Pointer

Rufus is out on trial adoption!

Rufus is a handsome, energetic German Shorthaired Pointer. He will love to be adopted by a very active family who will give him lots of vigorous exercise, such as long vigorous walks, chasing waves or just chasing a Frisbee. His manners with other dogs need some improvement, and he also needs to be taught to walk on a leash. If you have a lot of experience with dogs and the time to train Rufus, he may be the perfect dog for you.

Ideal Home: Best in home with children 16 years or older

Larry
7-month-old
Neutered Male, 11lbs
Terrier Mix

Larry is a very happy, active boy. His athleticism and charming outlook on life are irrepressible. He will be happiest in an active home where he will get lots of exercise, including long walks and fetch. While he will do well living with another dog who can show him some boundaries, he has too much exuberance around other dogs to be suitable for dog parks. Larry should go to a family where someone is home much of the time. This lively little character will make someone's family perfect.

Ideal Home: Best in home with children 12 years or older

Jax
2-year-old
Neutered Male, 18lbs
Terrier Mix

Jax is active and vivacious one minute, then ready to snuggle in your arms without a care in the world. When this charming dog meets other dogs he can be overly enthusiastic, so he isn’t ready for dog parks. He seems confused about meeting new people, and should go to a home with experience with dogs. If you’re willing to nurture this sweet young boy and give him the belly rubs, guidance, structure and daily exercise he needs, then you and Jax will both be justly rewarded with mutual respect and a lifetime of companionship.

Ideal Home: Best in home with children 12 years or older

Enzo
7-year-old
Neutered Male, 33lbs
Blue Heeler Mix

It’s hard to believe that this energetic, handsome little guy with the perky attitude is 7 years old! Enzo is very sensitive about being handled, and his new family should work on this using tasty treats. His greeting skills with other dogs when on leash may also need some work. This smart, athletic dog will want to be exercised to exhaustion twice a day, which could mean a one-hour hike, a bike ride, a jog, some obedience training, or a session of fetch. Enzo would definitely enjoy training. Come meet this fun-loving guy!

Ideal Home: Best in home with adults only

Brando
4-year-old
Neutered Male, 58lbs
Basset Hound Mix

Brando is a big, burly love. Just throw him a plush, squeaky toy and watch him light up with joy. Playing fetch is a great way to give him exercise and tire him out. This young man would do best in a household with prior dog experience, and isn’t a good choice for dog parks. Brando has been longing for a family willing to provide him with guidance, structure and a consistent lifestyle. He has the potential to be a terrific dog and wants to be in your home for the holidays!

Ideal Home: Best in home with children 16 years or older

Kenobi
7-year-old
Neutered Male, 8lbs
Chihuahua Mix

ADOPTED!

Sally
7-year-old
Spayed Female, 54lbs
Australian Shepherd Mix

Sally loves being trained and loves to play. Take her through some obedience classes and you'll see how proud she is when learning new things. She would really enjoy being a member of a family that takes her out for daily sessions of fetch. She can be a bit bossy and independent. When introducing Sally to any dogs she might live with, be sure to use slow and careful introductions. Just because she's a bit mature, don't think Sally isn't ready to learn a few new tricks!

Ideal Home: Best in home with children 12 years or older

Rocky
8-year-old
Neutered Male
Smooth Collie Mix

You won’t find many dogs who are nicer than Rocky. He loves people and is friendly and playful. Though he isn’t young, he has plenty of energy to play and romp. Rocky loves to play with soft toys as well as a good game of tug, and can show off his tricks. He will want regular exercise. Rocky is energetic and can be a bit clumsy at times. This handsome boy wants a home where he can share his love and playfulness.

Ideal Home: Best in home with children 6 years or older
