Rufus is a handsome, energetic German Shorthaired Pointer. He will love to be adopted by a very active family who will give him lots of vigorous exercise, such as long vigorous walks, chasing waves or just chasing a Frisbee. His manners with other dogs need some improvement, and he also needs to be taught to walk on a leash. Enzo is very sensitive about being handled, and his new family should work on this using tasty treats. His greeting skills with other dogs when on leash may also need some work. This smart, athletic dog will want to be exercised to exhaustion twice a day, which could mean a one-hour hike, a bike ride, a jog, some obedience training, or a session of fetch.
