A family with older children would probably suit Abbie well, as she does let you know when she has had enough attention. To help her settle into your home, give her some time in a small room equipped with everything she needs. Visit often and stay long with her, and give her time to explore the rest of the house.

She used to live with other cats and a dog, but wasn’t ever relaxed with this arrangement and learned to hide in cupboards and closets. Give Bonsai some time to settle in and feel at home, and she will show you that she’s a sweet playful kitty who will be great company!

Like a Poinsettia plant, this girl is both subtle and bold – able to brighten any room while sitting calmly in the corner. Although she has only shown us her quiet side since she’s been at the shelter, we suspect Poinsettia will show off a very playful and mischievous side after she has settled into her forever home. Poinsettia will appreciate regular grooming to keep her long hair beautiful. We think she will be happiest as an indoor-only cat.
