Sam & Pony
Adult
Male & Female
Rabbits

Sam and Pony are quite the lovely couple. This charming pair is very sweet, and will be terrific pets. Bunnies tend to be considerably happier when they’re in pairs and always have someone to snuggle with (who doesn't like that?). These two will probably be fine with children, but keep in mind that rabbits are sensitive. Spend some time with them and you'll see how they will melt anyone's heart!

Lizzie
1-year-old
Spayed Female

American Rabbit

Lizzie is a very sweet rabbit, somewhat shy at first, but willing to make friends. At MHS, she enjoys checking out visitors. Going nice and slow with her will help build up her trust with people. Give her lots of softly spoken praise and she'll warm up even faster. She really does love petting!  She's easy to pick up and doesn't mind being held for a little while. With time and love, this lovely rabbit will make a wonderful bunny companion. Ask to meet Lizzie!

Coco
3-year-old
Spayed Female
Mini Lop-Eared Rabbit

Coco, a charming lop eared bunny, is shy with people she doesn't know, but she's tolerant of handling and surprisingly easy to pick up for a shy bunny. But watch out for those enormous back feet! Coco is a very active bunny. She's busy, busy, busy, exploring, hopping around and checking things out. This girl will need lots of room to roam and stretch out. When she's on the move, wind her up and watch her go! This entertaining girl could keep you amused for years to come!

Melody
Adult
Spayed Female
American Rabbit

Melody is sweet, curious, mellow, and a bit shy. She's very easy to pick up and is fine with being held for short periods of time. Melody is definitely interested in people, but is a little shy of hands. Because of that we feel that her new family should be adults only or older, quieter children. If children try to pet her too much or aren't gentle with her, it will only make her more shy. Ask to meet this soft and sweet bun!

Teddy and Pistol
Adult
Neutered Male
Domestic Rabbits

Teddy and Pistol are two really handsome rabbits with fun personalities. Just wait until you see them snuggle up after a day of romping ... it's too cute!  They are both curious about people and their surroundings, and approach people to people to be petted.  Teddy is the more outgoing of the two and easier to handle.  Both are ok with being picked up and held for short periods of time. They will be happiest with a lot of space to hop around in, because they have lots of energy to burn off!

Red-Eared Slider
Adult

Red-Eared Sliders are large, active aquatic turtles. They are ideally kept in artificial backyard ponds, but can also be housed in very spacious aquariums with special lighting and filtration. With a varied diet and proper care they can live over 20 years. If you are up to the commitment, consider a Slider! Come to the Marin Humane Society and meet one!

Hilda
2-year-old
Spayed Female
American Rabbit

Hilda is a shy bunny who is gentle and quiet, and would like you to be the same. Nevertheless, she is a sweet rabbit who should make a nice companion for anyone who loves rabbits and is willing to put in the time to bond. Hilda responds very well to gentle talk and petting. Give her lots of space and let her get to know you slowly; she'll look forward to your time together. She probably won’t be a great companion for small children.

Charming
1-year-old
Neutered Male
Rhinelander Rabbit

Charming is gentle and fun to be around. He’s a relatively easy rabbit to handle. He loves treats such as leafy greens and he's very playful with plastic toys. Because of his active nature, Charming will want to have a lot of space to move around in. Give him lots of things to play with and mix up his toys from time to time. He'll also enjoy tunnels and boxes to explore. A healthy house rabbit can live 10-12 years - a charmed life indeed.

Nadia
2-year-old
Spayed Female
Domestic Rabbit

Nadia is one spunky bunny! Be ready to give this girl lots of room to explore and things to play with. Nadia, like many bunnies, is wary of being picked up, but with confident bunny handling she settles down just fine. She's happiest when you sit on the floor with her and "let her do her thing." She'll come up into your lap to check you out, and then she's off to find her next adventure. As she gets to know you, she will enjoy your company more and more.

Emerson
2-year-old
Neutered Male
Domestic Rabbit

Emerson and his friend Tiki are both very nice rabbits who will need to live in a rabbit-savvy home. Tiki adjusts a little quicker than Emerson, and particularly loves being petted. Emerson feels right at home if he can burrow his head under your arm. Their previous guardian cared for them and gave them ample room to roam and plenty of environmental stimulation, but they didn't encounter other people, so their social skills are focused on one person. It’s important to go slowly with these gently boys while introducing them to different people and stimuli.

Lucky Lou
1-year-old
Neutered Male
Rat

Lucky Lou was a little shy when he first got here so we sent him to a foster home.  His foster family said that he is very sweet, easy to hold and pick up, loving and warms up to people quickly.  He loves being outside of his cage to explore (but sitting in a lap is not exactly his favorite thing).  He should be taken out daily to explore and stretch.  Rats usually live 2-3 years and are guaranteed to bring lots of love and smiles during that time!
