The Marin Humane Society's
SHARE Program
SHARE (Special Human-Animal Relationships) consists of several programs that provide a variety of services with the common goal of keeping people and their companion animals together. Services include pet care assistance to low-income seniors and people with HIV/AIDS, animal-assisted therapy, and dogs helping children to read.
Low-Cost Vaccination Clinics and Spay/Neuter Services
The Marin Humane Society offers discount vaccination and microchip clinics four times per year. View the schedule on our Events page. The MHS Vet clinic also performs low-fee spay/neuter surgeries for cats and dogs of Marin County residents.
Guardians for Life
The Marin Humane Society's Guardians for Life program enables people to include a provision in their last will and testament to ensure their pets will be cared for after they are no longer the caretaker.
Companions in Crisis
MHS's Companions in Crisis program confidentially protects and cares for pets in situations of domestic abuse.
