Bayfront’s 3-acre dog park is spacious and diverse with access to Bay swimming for the avid water dogs. A small agility course offers exercise for dogs that like to play alone.

Larkspur: Canine Commons at Piper Park
Doherty, east of Magnolia
This small dog park at Piper Park in Larkspur has been closed indefinitely for construction. Dogs are still allowed on leash around the perimeter walking path. Dogs are not allowed on the playing fields. This park is run by the Larkspur Park and Rec Department. It has not been determined IF the park will reopen. The city is trying to fit an enlarged Police Department and Public Works facility on the property.

San Rafael: Field of Dogs
Civic Center Drive at Armory Drive and the Lagoon
The Field of Dogs officially opened on July 11, 1998. It is located at the Marin County Civic Center in San Rafael.

Novato: O'Hair Park
Dog park group: D.O.G.B.O.N.E. (The Dog Owners Group Bettering Our Novato Environment)
Novato Blvd. just west of Sutro/San Marin
The park is available for romping, but funding for improvements is still needed.

Sausalito: Remington Park
Ebtide at Bridgeway, Martin Luther King Open Space
Opened in 1991, Remington Park has become one of Marin's premier pooch places.

San Anselmo: Red Hill Community Park
The property that has become Red Hill Community Park is owned by the Tamalpais Union High School District (TUHSD) and is located behind Red Hill Shopping Center between Shaw Drive and Sunny Hills Drive. The park is designed to meet the diverse needs of our citizens, providing a beautiful area for recreation for our children and active adults, a safe walking track and a new, fully contained dog park.
